Cranberry & Green Apple Cheddar Dip

My mom has a knack for finding extremely tasty yet easy recipes. And this is one of her most recent finds. She served this dip during a football watching party last weekend. It went over extremely well. I don’t think there was any dip left by the end of the first quarter! I like this dip because it incorporates apples and cheese; which seem to have been made for one another. Christmas Biscotti

For some reason, I always thought it would be difficult to make biscotti. I anticipated that I would struggle with the mixing the dough, then shaping the dough and then eventually burning the finished product. *hah* Lately, I’ve been going through a lot of cookbooks and cooking magazines trying to plan my Christmas baking list. Chocolate Almond Toffee Bars

This is one of my very favourite treats! The combination of chocolate, almonds and sweetened condensed milk is to die for. I’ve made these bars a number of times, as my family and I really love them. They are a perfect little sweet bite to have with your tea or coffee in the evening. They are pretty addictive though, so sometimes one perfect sweet little bit ends up being ten perfect sweet little bites. You’ve been warned! These squares freeze really well.
