Happy Friday everyone! Hope you all had a great week and have fantastic plans for the weekend. I’m hoping to spend a lot of time in the kitchen this weekend and have a few new posts for you this upcoming week. I also should probably try and catch up on house cleaning too. Ugh! Red Velvet Shortbread

When I think of Valentine’s Day, I think of candy hearts, boxes of chocolates, and anything Red Velvet. Last Valentine’s Day, I made Red Velvet cupcakes for the first time and was pretty impressed. I had never tried Red Velvet cake before. Crazy, I know! This year, I decided to make red velvet shortbread. Shortbread and Red Velvet -what’s not to like!? The dough is extremely easy to put together & work with. An added bonus – the ingredient list is short & sweet.
